Day 1 – Toronto, Thousand Islands & Arrival in Montreal Begin your journey in Toronto and travel east toward one of Canada’s most scenic natural regions , the Thousand Islands , located along the St. Lawrence River between Canada and the United States. This stunning archipelago features more than 1,800 islands scattered across crystal-clear waters, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and historic charm. In Kingston, board a scenic cruise through the Thousand Islands, where you can admire picturesque islands, elegant waterfront estates, and historic landmarks from the water. This relaxing cruise offers one of the best ways to experience the region’s peaceful landscapes and rich heritage. After the cruise, continue north to Montreal , the largest French-speaking city in eastern Canada, often called the “Paris of North America” for its European atmosphere and cultural charm. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided city introduction featuring key landmarks such as Dorchester Square , the exterior of Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral , the iconic Sun Life Building , and the vibrant Saint Catherine Street , known for shopping, dining, and city life. Day 3 – Ottawa & Return to Toronto On the final day of the journey, depart from Montreal and travel to Ottawa , Canada’s capital city known for its political importance, historic landmarks, and elegant riverside scenery. Enjoy an optional in-depth downtown Ottawa tour featuring some of the city’s most iconic attractions. Stro ll throu gh the historic ByWard Market , Canada’s oldest public market, known for its lively atmosphere, local food, and boutique shops. Continue to Kìwekì Point for panoramic views overlooking the Ottawa River and Parliament Hill. The tour also includes exterior visits to the impressive National Gallery of Canada and the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica , along with a stop at the historic Royal Canadian Mint to learn about Canada’s coin-making craftsmanship.
