Itinerary

Day 1

DAY 1 | ARRIVAL IN TOKYO · AIRPORT WELCOME

Upon arrival at Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) or Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) , you will be warmly welcomed by our dedicated airport representative and begin your exciting journey through Japan. Narita Airport: Our airport representative will assist guests with boarding the hotel shuttle bus. Upon arrival at the hotel, guests will check in independently. Airport assistance is available from 08:00 to 22:00 . Haneda Airport: Shared transfers to the Tokyo hotel are scheduled at 14:00 and 19:00 . Guests arriving outside the designated transfer times may make their own way to the hotel using the hotel shuttle service. Private airport transfers are also available at an additional charge of CAD $175 per person, per transfer , based on a minimum of 2 guests.

Day 2

DAY 2 | TOKYO HIGHLIGHTS · ASAKUSA · MT. FUJI ONSEN

After breakfast, begin your Tokyo sightseeing tour with a visit to the historic Senso-ji Temple . Walk through the iconic Kaminarimon Gate and stroll along Nakamise Shopping Street , soaking up the nostalgic atmosphere of old Edo. Stop at a prime photo spot for a memorable view of the Tokyo Skytree . Continue to Akihabara , Tokyo’s famous centre of anime, electronics and pop culture. Later, enjoy a leisurely walk through Odaiba Seaside Park and admire beautiful views across Tokyo Bay. Drive past the outer grounds of the Imperial Palace , the residence of Japan’s Imperial Family, before heading to Ginza , Tokyo’s prestigious shopping district, for some free time. In the evening, travel to the Mt. Fuji area and check into an onsen hotel. Relax in the natural hot springs and enjoy an elegant Japanese kaiseki dinner.

Day 3

DAY 3 | MT. FUJI · LAKE YAMANAKA · OSHINO HAKKAI

After breakfast, visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Mt. Fuji 5th Station , where you can enjoy spectacular close-up views of Japan’s highest mountain. If the 5th Station is closed due to weather conditions, the visit will be replaced by the Mt. Fuji Visitor Center . Continue to beautiful Lake Yamanaka (Swan Lake) , where the tranquil lake and surrounding mountains provide magnificent views of Mt. Fuji. Guests may choose from several optional experiences: Sumo Performance: CAD $70/person Sky Station: CAD$20/person Kimono Experience: CAD $28/person In the afternoon, visit Oshino Hakkai , a picturesque village famous for its eight crystal-clear spring ponds fed by snowmelt from Mt. Fuji. Surrounded by traditional Japanese scenery, it is celebrated for its eight crystal-clear, spring-fed ponds.

Day 4

Nagoya-Kyoto

After breakfast, board the Irago Ferry and cruise across Ise Bay , enjoying panoramic ocean views along the way. Upon arrival, visit Ise Jingu , one of Japan’s most sacred and important Shinto shrines. Stroll along the picturesque Isuzu River and explore the charming Edo-style streets of Okage Yokocho , where you can discover traditional shops and local delicacies. Lunch is at your own expense. Continue to Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks) at Futamiura, a famous symbol of love, marriage and good fortune. Relax with a soothing Toba footbath before visiting Gojoban Yashiki and Matsusaka Castle Ruins Park , where you can experience the fascinating history and atmosphere of Japan’s samurai era.

Day 5

DAY 5 | TIMELESS KYOTO · VIBRANT OSAKA

After breakfast, travel to Kyoto and visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kiyomizu-dera Temple . Wander through the atmospheric lanes of Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka , lined with beautifully preserved traditional machiya townhouses. For lunch, enjoy Kyoto’s famous Yudofu tofu cuisine . In the afternoon, take part in a specially arranged Japanese Tea Ceremony Experience , discovering the traditional principles of Wa, Kei, Sei, Jaku — Harmony, Respect, Purity and Tranquility. Enjoy some shopping at a duty-free store before continuing to Osaka Castle Park for an exterior visit to this iconic Osaka landmark. Later, explore the bustling streets of Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori , where dazzling city lights, shopping and Osaka’s celebrated food culture come together.

Day 6

DAY 6 | OSAKA · DEPARTURE

After a final breakfast, your memorable tour concludes. Your guide will provide all necessary guidance and advice for your self-guided transfer to Kansai International Airport (KIX) via public transportation (at your own expense). Depart with a heart full of cherished memories from your exceptional journey through the Imperial Route.
