Arrival in Madrid, pick-up of the rental car and the start of this unforgettable route through some of the most historic and charming cities in Spain. Pick-up of the rental car in Madrid and start of the route towards Toledo, one of the cities with the greatest historical wealth in Spain and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Set on a hill and partly encircled by the river Tagus, Toledo preserves an extraordinary Christian, Jewish and Muslim legacy. During your stay you can freely explore its old town and discover landmarks such as the Alcázar, the Primate Cathedral, the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, the Synagogue of El Tránsito, the Puerta de Bisagra or the church of Santo Tomé, home to El Greco's celebrated work “The Burial of the Count of Orgaz”.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure by car towards Chinchón, a picturesque town in the Madrid region known for its traditional atmosphere and its singular Plaza Mayor. The day is free to wander its streets, admire its houses with wooden balconies and get to know some of its main attractions, such as the church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, the Clock Tower or the local wineries. The Plaza Mayor, the true heart of the town, has been the setting for popular festivities, theatrical performances, bullfights and various historical events.

Breakfast at the Parador and continuation of the route towards Alcalá de Henares, birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Free time to delve into its history through the University of Alcalá, the Colegio Mayor de San Ildefonso, the Plaza de Cervantes, the Calle Mayor and the Magistral Cathedral of Saints Justus and Pastor. We also recommend visiting the Cervantes Birthplace Museum and discovering the city's traditional courtyards and university buildings.

Breakfast and departure towards Segovia, crossing the landscapes of the Sierra de Guadarrama. Along the way we recommend a stop at the Royal Site of La Granja de San Ildefonso. There you can visit the Royal Palace, the former summer residence of the Spanish monarchy, and stroll through its extensive gardens adorned with monumental fountains. Continue on to Segovia, a UNESCO World Heritage city. Free time to admire the impressive Roman aqueduct, walk the streets of the old town and visit some of its most outstanding monuments, such as the Alcázar, the Cathedral, the Casa de los Picos or the Romanesque churches of San Martín, San Millán and San Esteban. Segovian cuisine, with dishes as famous as roast suckling pig, rounds off the experience.

Breakfast and departure towards Ávila, famous for its extraordinary walled enclosure, one of the best preserved in Europe. The visit reveals its gates and towers, as well as the medieval charm of its old town. Among its most representative sights are the Cathedral of El Salvador, the Basilica of San Vicente, the Convent of Santa Teresa, the Monastery of Santo Tomás and the many palaces and churches scattered across the city.

After breakfast, farewell to the monumental city of Ávila to begin the journey back to Madrid. On arrival, transfer at your own expense to the hotel. The last afternoon of the trip is free to once again enjoy the energy of the capital, walk along the Gran Vía, do some shopping or savour Madrid cuisine in one of its traditional restaurants.
